5. Make sure you’re not paying for coverage you don’t need. Every state has minimum requirements when it comes auto insurance so make sure your agent did not put a lot of things in your policy that you do not need.
6. Drive a small to medium-size four-door sedan with a four or 6-cylinder engine. You’re going to get a lot better insurance rates than if you are driving a two door convertible with a big engine.
