Read this and learn how buying child life insurance can be very inexpensive if you make the right decisions.
The purpose of life insurance is to protect families and replace an income that is lost when a person dies. Children usually do not have an income so the purpose of buying life insurance for children is not to replace the income.
When my brother and I were young my mother bought each of us a life insurance policy with a $1000 benefit and what she bought was a whole life policy which over the course of 25 years accumulated a case value of several thousand dollars. That was a little nest that she prepared for each of us.
Life insurance for children is relatively inexpensive compared to adult life insurance because children usually do not die.
What most people do is when they buy their own insurance will attach a rider for the children. This can be very inexpensive and is probably the best way to do it..
However, there is an advantage to buying a life insurance policy for children and that is when the child becomes an adult that policy can easily be converted into a good term life policy or whole life insurance policy.
Jimmy says life insurance for children should not be a big priority but if you are buying a life insurance policy for yourself it is easy to attach a rider for the children.
Whoa Jimmy?
