Emphasize how important it is for your teenager not to have an accident or get any speeding tickets. Should your teenager get any traffic violations the first thing he or she must do is go to driving school which will take the points off of their drivers license and keep the insurance premiums down.

If your teenager is driving a four-door sedan his or her insurance rates are going to be much lower than if they were driving a two door sports car with a large engine.
