Brian Oakey Praise Report
Posted by: | Comments| Pastor Jim:Here is a copy of my latest post on your “praise reports” section of your blog:
Well, I’m here to report that my sound ministry, Joyful Noise Sound Company, is really taking off! I have a very demanding day job at the Property Appraiser’s office, and a great compensation package, but now find myself in more of a position than ever to serve God and His Kingdom! I can’t believe how many requests I’ve had to run sound from secular, and Christian ministry bands. I’ve bid on a contract with the City of Cocoa, and I know I will secure it…praise God! All my efforts, Christian ministries or otherwise, are for the glory of God so I will prosper. My equipment will be paid off soon, and I will continue to be able to be a major blessing to Christian music ministries. |
$250 Dollar winner in church Sunday
Posted by: | CommentsWe had a $250 winner in church Sunday during the free cash drawing.
Jean Johnson was the big winner. She was happy as she is getting another car and needed the money to get the license plates and to pay the taxes on it.
The drawing Wednesday is for $300.
The worship service Sunday morning was awesome. The anointng was incredable but I just feel like the whole world is anointed right now. However, it was especially anointed inside the church. I think that the music is bringing the anointing. God inhabits the praises of His poeple.
A man, who came to church for the first time, told me last Wednesday that I “had renewed his faith in God”. It was almost overwelming for me. I guess that I still have not gotten over the fact that God could use someone like me to be a Pastor to His people. God is so wonderful that it’s beyond my understanding. To see someone come back to God is all the Christmas present I need. However, the presents that Mary buys for me are also very nice.
Wonderful Healing

Pastor Jim:
I consider my trip to the hospital as praiseworthy since my gallbladder was about to burst. I put it off for about a year. Also, the first hospital in Melbourne did two tests (ultrasound and MRI) which indicated the presence of a mass. They thought there might be pancreatic cancer as I told you when you prayed with me on the phone. After we prayed, I was not worried and told Marti that I knew I didn’t have cancer. I was transferred to Florida Hospital and put on the oncology floor, but still wasn’t worried. I knew the endoscopic ultrasound would find nothing, which it did, no mass, nothing! My gallbladder was removed before it became perforated, with no complications. I followed up with my local gastrorenterologist as a stint was placed in my bile duct which would need to be removed. He asked me if I had started the medication he had prescribed for a condition I was diagnosed with back in July, gastroparesis. I told him I hadn’t and that I didn’t want to as the medication could cause Parkinson’s like side effects, involuntary flinching, etc. He suggested we do the test again as I had lost weight and maybe my diabetes was under better control which might cure the condition. My spirit spoke to me and told me there was a reason I was going to be re-tested…..because I was cured. When I went for the test I spoke out loud that the test would be normal as I knew in my spirit that it would. Praise God that the test was normal, my diabetes in under better control, and I no longer need to take twice daily insulin shots.

Large Veins Disappear
Posted by: | CommentsYesterday morning, during our church service, a woman asked for prayer for large veins that were on her head. Her doctors have been wanting to do extensive surgery to remove them. This morning, when she woke up the large veins were gone. Alleluia!
