1. Sometimes you need to ask yourself a question, is it worth paying somebody else to give you advice and help you with your finances when you actually could do that on your own? If you had all the answers yourself you would not be in debt now would you?

7. The way debt consolidation agencies and debt counselors get paid is they take 10% off the top of your payments or the companies they are making the payments to refund them 10%. Believe me, they get paid and it comes out of your pocket one way or the other.
8. The best thing to do if you are having trouble making your payments is to get a debt consolidation loan and lower your payments by 50% or more because of lower interest rates and longer term.
