Here is a list of 4 different types of discounts for life insurance.

Number 1. Loyalty discounts. There’s a discount that you may get from a company if you already have another type of policy with them. For example, I have my car insurance and my homeowners insurance with the same company and I get a discount for both.

Number 2. Buy a basic level coverage policy. This type of policy only pays for a death liability and may not pay if there is a long illness involved.

Number 3. Buy a term life insurance policy of short duration. This can be a good idea if you are only concerned about being covered for a certain, short length of time.

Number 4. Change your lifestyle. Nobody likes to hear this but the truth of the matter is a non-smoker who falls into the ideal weight classification is going to pay less for his life insurance policy.
