Prayer to start each day: Know that Pastor Jim and Mary pray and speak over everyone who is doing this program.

I thank you Lord for this new day that you have blessed me with. I pray that today I will please you in all that I say and do and I thank you for this opportunity to lose weight and get my body in physical order. I pray that I will have the discipline to do it. I pray that I will lose all the weight that I need to lose as quickly and safely as possible. I pray for and received a double portion of grace over this weight-loss program. Thank you Lord for what you have done and what you’re doing in my life, in Jesus name. Amen.

Declarations:

I do not desire to overeat. Say this everyday over and over until your eating is totally under control.

1 Thessalonians 5:23 I am sanctified body, soul and spirit.

1 Corinthians 6:19 my body is the temple of the Holy Ghost and it is a temple that honors God. This Temple will be healthy wealthy and wise.

Ephesians 3:20 this weight loss will happen quicker and better than I ever imagined because the power of God is within me.

3 John 2 I will prosper and be in good health just as my soul prospers.

Daniel 1:8-15 I choose to eat healthy even when those around me are making poor food choices and I will be noticeably healthier than those making poor food choices. I will have the discipline to make healthy choices with good portion control at every meal and snacks.

Philippians 4:13 I can lose weight and be healthy because Christ will give me strength and ability.

Remember, God want us to be successful in every area of our lives and that includes our health.

Many people desire to lose weight but the problem in most cases is a slow metabolism. Sometimes cutting calories and portions will cause the body to lose weight. However, sad to say many people who eat good foods and small portions still have great difficulty in losing weight.

The answer is to get your body to burn the fat which has been stored up. This supernatural weight-loss program will cause your body to burn the fat. This program will work every time for everyone who is determined to stay on it.

The Basics of Low Carb Diets

You may know a friend who lost a lot of weight on a low carb diet. You might have seen the books on TV or in your bookstore. Just how does a low carb diet work?

Low carbohydrate diets have been around for many years, but they were brought to public awareness through Dr. Atkins and his Atkins Diet, as well as the Zone Diet and most recently the South Beach Diet. While the particulars of the various low carb diets might vary, the basic concept is the same. Train the body to burn fat rather than burn carbohydrates.

Let’s take a step back into basic biology. Your body has a lot going on inside it, even if you don’t exercise or do much else. Your body needs a lot of energy to keep the blood flowing, the systems working, the brain functioning. We provide our body with the raw supplies to create energy with by eating. Our bodies take that food, convert it into energy, and that’s how the body keeps itself going. This is rather simplified of course .

Now, the body really only has 2 basic kinds of fuel it can use. Fuels are either carbohydrates (sugars, starches, etc) or they are fats. Just about everything else you eat – including fiber – is passed through your system without having an energy impact.

Normally, with the sugar-rich, pasta-rich, bread-rich, potato-rich diet that the modern world eats, the body is overwhelmed with the carbohydrate type of fuel. So it leaves its fat reserves alone, saving them for “dangerous starvation times”. It’s that caveman instinct we have built into us. In other words, your metabolism may think you are trying to starve your body to death and immediately attempt to horde the fat. If your body does not think you are trying to starve it, it will begin to burn off the fat. That is why many people will actually gain weight on a diet. The body will say, oh oh what is going on here?

Any morsel of carbohydrates that we eat and do not immediately use gets converted into fat and tucked away for future use. The problem is that we eat so many carbs that the fat layers grow and grow.

Some diets try to compensate by cutting down the calories you eat – i.e. eating tons of carbs, but just eating slightly less. The problem is that your body is still depending on carbs coming in. It primarily burns those carbs. Eat too many, your body just tucks them away for future use. Eat too few … here’s the thing. Yes, your body has to look around for alternate energy. But switching from carb-burning to fat-burning isn’t very easy, so it isn’t efficient in how it goes after your fat reserves. Also, because this seems to your body like an “UH oh! Not enough food coming in!” situation, your body starts to switch into a conservation mode. It adjusts itself to account for this new “famine” situation in the body and tries to conserve its precious fat stores as a result. Meaning your body is now fighting your dieting efforts.

In comparison, the low carb diets simply provide your body, naturally, with its other normal energy source. And that is fat. The diet that mankind ate naturally for thousands of years was NOT loaded up with junk food and sugar! It was primarily meat, fresh vegetables and fresh fruits. These things are all naturally low in carbs and high in fats. Olive oil is one of the more healthy things you can eat! So when you go to a low carb diet, your body gets used to eating a diet with fats being the primary source of energy. You eat plenty of food – your body never panics about being in “famine mode”. So it doesn’t shut down fat burning efforts. If it doesn’t see enough fat coming in from one source (your mouth) it easily grabs fat from another source (i.e. your tummy). And since fat becomes its primary source of energy, you don’t feel starving during the day or famished at mealtimes – because your body always has a ‘fat store’ to snack on when it needs it.

Exercise:

This is a very important part of a weight-loss program. The first week you do not necessarily need to do as much exercise because you are getting your body into a fat burning mode and you won’t have as much energy. Beginning with week two, you should begin exercising at least 30 minutes or more 3 times per week. Your routine may include walking, jogging, bicycling, swimming and resistance exercises with weights.

Weekly weigh-in:

We do this because it helps with accountability and also helps keep record of your successes. It also acts as a time of encouragement for each other. You’re not required to do this but I would encourage you to because it helps you to stick with your diet.

It is also a good idea to take a picture and measurements before you start.

Ketone Strips:

Make sure you stay in a small to moderate range on the strips as being in the higher range can cause damage to your health. Very important!

If you are Diabetic:

Is very important that you check with your primary care physician before starting any diet to make sure your doctor feels that it is appropriate for your personal needs. As a diabetic you will need to make sure you watch your sugar closely and adjust your medications as you are attempting this diet.

What to do before starting diet:

If you have been eating a lot of sugar in your diet, make an attempt to slowly cut back on your sugar for a week before beginning diet. You will be very happy that you did this as you will not experience the level of withdrawal that many people must deal with.

Your body only retains 2 days worth of carb supply in it, and after the second day, it will be totally out of carbs. It will have to change to its normal other form of energy – FAT. And if you’re on this diet, you have a good supply of fat on your body, so your body has ample fuel to work with.

You may feel bad for a few days but By day 4 you will begin to feel better.

In other words, after 2 days on a low carb diet your body must begin to burn fat and you will begin to lose weight at a rapid pace!

On day 3, your body will start to consume that fat supply, and when you eat food, it will go after those fats as well. Most people will lose anywhere from 7 to 14 pounds in these first two weeks

After the first week, you’ll really feel a new energy; feel livelier and even tempered. Your sugar-rush highs and lows will be gone; your shakiness when you’re hungry will go away. And when you check your measurements after the 2 weeks, you’ll be quite impressed on how weight AND measurements have improved!

Low Carb – The First Two Days Breaking the Carb Addiction

Most low carb diets put special emphasis on the first two weeks, when you get used to eating in a healthier manner. But those first two DAYS are the key - when you break your carb addiction!

The first three days will be the hardest of the ENTIRE diet. Call someone if you need to. We are a support group. Up until now, your body has been ‘coasting’ on high sugar foods, not having to work at all to get easy energy. It uses some to keep itself going, and the rest goes right to your waist and butt as fat. Your body has gotten sluggish, used to this ‘easy sugar diet’.

When you go low carb, you’re really going “healthy” – which means your body has to do what it is SUPPOSED to do and actually break down healthy foods into the vitamins and nutrients it can use. Think of it as having been addicted to heroin. If you went off heroin, your body would crave it at first! It is EXACTLY the same with sugary carbs. Your body will get cranky, tired, and shaky. Believe me – the worse your symptoms are, the more your body was addicted to the bad stuff.

But GREAT news is around the corner. Your body – and every human body – only carries “raw carbs” for 2 days in its system. The rest is stored as fat. So after Day 2, your body will be done with its sugar-seeking and will do the NORMAL thing that bodies have been meant to do since the days of cavemen-eating-mammoths, which is that it will start processing fat and protein for energy.

Since this diet gives you AMPLE fat and protein, plus HEALTHY nutrients as well, your body kicks into high gear! And once it gets rolling, it does very well with these. The next two weeks are often an amazing revelation to people, as they realize that all the roller-coaster mood swings, hunger cravings, bloating, stomach puffiness and the rest was really all caused by the sugar high-and-low that a sugar-rich diet causes. Suddenly you’re feeling better, have much more energy, and are losing weight WITHOUT feeling hungry at all.

So stay with it for those first few hard days, when your carb addiction is being fought with. It’s well worth it to win and to go on to much more healthy living!

Things to buy before beginning diet:

Multivitamin

Vitamin B complex

Omega 3 (1000 mg)

Calcium with vitamin D (600 mg +D)

Whey Isolate Protein (One scoop mixed with water is a meal) 27 grams Protein 1 gram Carbs.

Meat Nutrition guide from Publix – Boar’s Head (free)

Ketone Strips – Wal-mart has them

Your body will go into a fat burning stage. You will do this by depleting your body of excessive carbohydrates, therefore causing your body to burn fatty tissue. You’ll know that your body is burning fatty tissue if you test your urne are first thing in the morning with ketone strips. This is very important information as it will protect your health.

It is very important to drink plenty of non-calorie fluids (64-128 ounces) each day. The fluids will help your body to flush out the fatty tissue, keep you hydrated, and allow you the best weight loss conditions.

During the first week we will attempt to reduce our carbohydrate intake to as near zero as possible.

First 2 Weeks Low Carb Food List
As you are starting out with your low carb diet – whether it’s Atkins, South Beach or another style, here is a food list to get you through those first two weeks. Print this out and bring it with you to the grocery store! Choose your favorites, plus add one or two “new things” each time you shop too, to explore new foods. You might be surprised how tasty it can be to eat fresh food!

Counting Carbs:

We are going to count carbs each day during our supernatural weight loss program.

Ideally, we are going to attempt to stay under 20 carbs per day for the first two weeks.

All foods are labeled so be sure and check the number of carbs for everything you eat.

Although we do need some fat in our diet we should attempt to keep our fat intake to a minimum.

Meats/Fish
Just about every meat and fish has 0g of carbs. Do not eat processed meats, hot dogs and liver. Get meat into each meal.

__ EGGS!! Eggs can be eaten for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks
__ Steak
__ Hamburger
__ Chicken
__ Chicken Wings (deserves special mention, these are PERFECT snacks)
__ Pork
__ Salmon
__ Tuna
__ Swordfish
__ Cans of Tunafish (get the chunk lite, NOT the white/albacore)
__ Whitefish (cod, haddock) great for broiling!

Vegetables
It is extremely important to eat your vegetables! They are chock-full of important nutrients. Try to have a veggie or two at each meal, and extra veggies for snacks. Learn new, fun veggies recipes!

__ Alfalfa Sprouts
__ Asparagus
__ Bamboo Shoots
__ Bean Sprouts
__ Broccoli
__ Cabbage
__ Cauliflower
__ Celery
__ Collard Greens
__ Cucumber
__ Eggplant
__ Lettuce
__ Mushrooms (try all sorts of varieties!)
__ Radishes
__ Sauerkraut
__ Spinach
__ Tomato
__ Turnips
__ Water Chestnuts
__ Zucchini

Cheese
__ Cheddar Cheese (great for sprinkling over salads)
__ Swiss
__ Mozzarella (make an eggplant pizza)
__ Gouda

Other Food Items
__ Olive Oil
__ Vinegar
__ Butter
__ Splenda sweetener
__ Sour Cream
__ Chicken broth (get a low salt version)
__ Diet soda (with Splenda), bottled water, low carb iced teas
__ Olives

Salsa, eat as much as you want.

Herbs
Make sure your spice cabinet is up to date! You will find it amazing how flavorful your food can be when it’s made fresh and cooked with delicious spices.

Things to Avoid
For now, avoid fruits, berries, milk, nuts, and of course anything full of sugar like soda! No chips or candies! There are lots of great low carb chocolates and ice creams, but avoid these for the first 2 weeks. You’re trying to cleanse your system of potential allergens right now. When you add these things back in after 2 weeks, you’ll find out how your particular body reacts to each of these items.

A Note About Soda
In an ideal world you’d cut out all soda too, because many people are allergic to artificial sweeteners found in soda. However, I know many people are addicted to soda and trying to go cold turkey would cause them to abandon the new eating plan after a day or two. If you currently have sugary soda in your daily life, definitely change to a diet brand – but I wouldn’t try to cut it out completely right now. You want to give yourself the best possible chance of success.

Avoid breads, rice, grains, and potatoes during the first two weeks. All are very carb-rich. Avoid all processed foods, too, and read all labels. Drink a LOT of water – at least 8 glasses a day. You’ll be amazed at the results you see!

Carb Counts for the Long Term Low Carb Lifestyle
OK, you’ve merrily reached your hoped-for ideal weight and are ready to settle into a maintenance level of low carb lifestyle. How do you know what carb count to be at?

First, in the Initial Weeks of your Low Carb Diet you were probably in the under 20g of carbs a day range. That is below ANY human being’s carb needs for a day and is pretty much guaranteed to lose extra weight for a person. That is used to kick-start your body into fat burning.

As you moved through the diet, you slowly added carb levels back in until you get to losing 1-2 pounds a week. The closer you got to your target rate, the more carbs you added back in, until in essence you “coasted” to your target rate and were now eating the ideal amount of food each week to keep you right there.

What are typical ideal ranges for people? It varies of course by person to person, with how active they are and how efficient their bodies are. Some people can live quite easily on very few carbs. Other people need more carbs to keep their bodies going because they have higher metabolisms.

Low metabolism: 25g to 40g a day
Medium metabolism: 40g to 60g a day
High metabolism: 60g to 90g a day
Daily Exerciser: 90g or more a day

Read this sermon outline and learn how to receive from God what He has already provided for us which includes financial prosperity and healing as well as salvation.

Mark 11:24 if you truly believe you receive, you will receive. Locate yourself according to Mark 11:24

A person who is trying to get God to heal him or provide for him or even save him is a person who is not praying in faith.

I can always locate a person’s faith by what is coming out of their mouth.

Turn to second Corinthians chapter 5. First Peter chapter 2. Second Corinthians chapter 8.

We all know beyond a shadow of a doubt that everything we need was provided or given to us 2000 years ago when Jesus went to the cross.

Just because something has been given to you, doesn’t mean that you possess it.

Numbers 20:12, 33:53, Deuteronomy 3:18-20,

Joshua 2:9 the people in Jericho had a revelation of what was going to happen to them.

Joshua 6:2 chapter 14 after 40 years Caleb still wanted his inheritance.

However, just because salvation, healing, and prosperity was provided for us does not mean that we actually have it or that it has been manifested in our lives.

Faith gives God the opening necessary for him to pour His favor and blessing into our lives, bringing a manifestation of that promise and its provisions from the spiritual realm into the natural realm which is where we need during this lifetime.

In other words it takes faith to bring the manifestation of what has already being provided for us.

Matthew 9:29 Mark 9

Salvation was provided 2000 years ago but people still die and go to hell.

Healing was provided 2000 years ago but people are still sick.

Prosperity was provided 2000 years ago but people are still poor.

Question, how do we bring the manifestation of God’s promise into our lives?

Or how do we receive from God what he has already promised and provided for us.

What is blocking the manifestation of God’s promises in our lives?

Sin.

Unforgiveness.

Unbelief. A refusal to believe God’s Word after hearing it. That is not a problem in this church. This is a problem but is not the number one problem.

Rejection is usually present with Unbelief of God’s Word.

Jesus said that a person who refuses to belief is a person with no faith. John chapter 20. Thomas. In a decision not to believe unless he could see. It was called faithless by Jesus. Wow!

Mark chapter 6. They were offended by Jesus.

Mark chapter 16 He who rejects the Gospel shall be damned. Who refuses to believe.

Numbers 13, Hebrews chapter 3 and 4

Keep in mind that what people reject they are not eligible for unless they change. People who refuse to believe after hearing God’s plan for salvation are not eligible for salvation and people who refuse to believe in healing will not see miracle healings and people who do not believe in biblical prosperity are not eligible to walk in God’s covenant of wealth.

Ignorance is a huge reason that people do not receive.

Acts chapter 19. These people had never heard of the Holy Spirit and so could not have faith to be filled.

Most people do not have unbelief inside them, what they have is ignorance of God’s word. They just do not know.

Hosa 4:6 my people are destroyed because of a lack of knowledge. Ignorance.

There are two types of ignorance.

Ignorance as a result of having never heard.

Revelation ignorance which is a result of not having what you heard go into your spirit. This covers a lot of people including people who think they know God’s word.

Ephesians 1:17-18

God has great mercy for people operating in ignorance. God has very little mercy for unbelief or rebellion. People who refuse to believe or who reject Jesus are not going to receive mercy.

Unbelief is not a problem in this church. Some churches and denominations absolutely refused to believe God’s Word on healing and prosperity. They believe it is not for today.

A lack of revelation knowledge is an issue in this church body but is improving every week and even with me.

Isaiah 5:13 therefore my people are gone into captivity because they have no knowledge.

Sickness and poverty is captivity.

Ephesians 4:18 lack of understanding or, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them because of the blindness of their heart.

Alienation as the result of ignorance means non-participant from the Zoe God kind of life.

Many people are born again but are alienated from the Spirit filled life because of ignorance. Acts 19:1-2 Paul came to Ephesus and found disciples. He said have you received the Holy Ghost since you believe? And they said unto him we have not so much as heard whether there is any Holy Ghost.

However, there are a lot of people who are alienated from the Spirit filled life because they refuse to believe in the baptism of the Holy Ghost.

Mark chapter 5. When she had heard. Her hearing overcame ignorance.

The enemy of ignorance is hearing because hearing brings knowledge. The devil will attempt to keep people from hearing this word because the more people hear this word the less ignorant they will be.

The devil wants to keep you ignorant and will find any excuse possible to keep it separated from this church.

The devil knows that whatever the preacher is teaching on a steady basis will happen in the lives of the people because God’s Word inside you affects your life. The word that goes inside you causes change on the outside.

Knowledge is power and revelation knowledge is God’s power working in your life.

Understand that there are two types of knowledge.

Head knowledge. Good to have but it does not change your life.

Revelation knowledge. Life-changing because this type of knowledge will cause God’s promises to manifest in your life. 2 Peter 1:2-3.

Knowledge is knowing something.

Not knowing something is ignorance.

There are some things I am ignorant of. Example: How to do brain surgery, although I know that I could learn, with some practice.

I do not need to know everything that is why I have the Holy Spirit.

I do not even know everything that I need to know.

The more you learn the more you learn that there are things I don’t know.

The first step to learning is to admit that you don’t know.

Admit that you do not have revelation knowledge of God’s word on financial increase and you are on your way up.

To grow in knowledge is to become aware of how ignorant we have been.

If you do not learn anything today about financial increase your financial spiritual condition is the same today as it was yesterday. No improvement.

I want to improve my spiritual condition every day.

Are you still the same place now that you were when you first came to this church?

Can you imagine where you will be five years from now if you keep hearing God’s word on financial increase?

There is a God side and a man side to almost every subject in the Bible.

People have trouble on each other (man side) because they have never been taught how much God loves us (God side).

God’s love is a result of God making a choice and not based on whether or not we deserve it and not because we are so lovable.

When Christ shed his love upon us he did not take into consideration our current condition. (God side)

People withhold love because of current conditions (man side).

The more you know about God the easier it is to do the man side.

If you have difficulty doing the man side, learn more about God.

Example. Ephesians 5:23 husbands love your wife as Christ loved the church. It is impossible to love your wife the way God wants you to unless you have been taught how Christ loved the church.

————————————————————————————————————-

Desire and prayer is not enough. People say we need to pray more.

People call prayer centers and start prayer chains and get no results.

I have a faith buddy and I call her for encouragement and to speak over me.

The truth of the matter is you can pray all night long and not get any results.

The way to get your prayer answered is found in Mark 11:24

Beliefs are always the result of the accumulation of knowledge.

Mark 4:24 Amp. Be careful what you are hearing. The measure of thought and study you give to the truth you hear will be the measure of virtue and knowledge that comes back to you and more besides will be given to you who hear.

Mark 4:24-25 (New International Version)

24“Consider carefully what you hear,” he continued. “With the measure you use, it will be measured to you—and even more. 25Whoever has will be given more; whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him.”

Mark 4:24-25 (New Living Translation)

24 Then he added, “Pay close attention to what you hear. The closer you listen, the more understanding you will be given[a]—and you will receive even more. 25 To those who listen to my teaching, more understanding will be given. But for those who are not listening, even what little understanding they have will be taken away from them.”

The degree of importance we place upon what we hear determines the quality and quantity of the fruit is produced in our lives.

Wrong beliefs are the accumulation of the wrong kind of knowledge and there is plenty of that out there.

Most of the knowledge you’ve accumulated is through the flap on the side of your head. You can also accumulate knowledge by reading but it does not seem to have as much effect.

You must accumulate knowledge before you can believe anything.

Where there is no knowledge there can be no beliefs.

Before I can believe I received I must accumulate some knowledge.

What knowledge do I need to know about God that will enable me to obtain belief?

Desire + prayer + believe you receive = results.

Many people do the desire + prayer and then add hope instead of believe you receive.

God requires people to believe certain things. The must factor. Conditions.

Must believe that God is.

Must believe that it is God’s will to heal and prosper me now.

In order to receive salvation God requires that we believe in our heart that God has raised Jesus from the dead. People cannot be saved believing what they want to believe. Some people choose to believe that anyone could live a good life and not lie, cheat, steal and that God will allow them to go to heaven. This is a terrible mistake to believe this way but millions do.

There are things we should do and things we must do.

We should wash our car, but we must put gas in it.

We should exercise, but we must eat.

We should take care of our lungs but we must breathe.

There are things we should believe in God’s Word but in order to receive salvation, healing or prosperity but there are things we must believe.

Hebrews 11:6

Must believe that God is.

The Bible does not attempt to prove the existence of God.

The gods of all other religions do not exist. People are following gods that do not even exist.

Must believe that God is and not was the healer and provider.

A lot of people believe that God was the healer and provider but no longer is.

In Exodus chapter 1 God describes himself to Moses as the Great I Am. not the great I was or the great I will be.

People believe that healing and provision has been done away with.

That the filling of the Holy Spirit has been done away with.

We are isers not wasers.

The only way you can understand is, is through the revealed will of God.

We must believe that it is God’s will for us to be in health and prosperous. God’s word says that that will happen even as, or as the same rate as our soul prospers.

How can you believe that you receive healing or financial provision unless you believe it is God’s will for you?

Faith begins where the will of God is known. This is 90% of the program.

Hebrews 11:6 must believe that God is a rewarder, or a giver of good things and you must believe that God gave to you when you prayed. However, that does not necessarily mean you possess it yet and that is OK. You do not possess something until it has been manifested in your life.

Believing that God is and is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him are not optional beliefs. According to God this is mandatory if we want to please him.

Once you get to the point where you believe that God is the healer and God is the provider you have begun your journey toward believing that you receive when you pray. I think that is not a problem in this church. It is however, a problem with many people.

The first thing I look for in a sick or poor Christian is whether or not they believe that it is God’s will for them to prosper and be in health. This is the first God side principle.

Beliefs concerning God’s Will can never be formed based upon your own experiences or experiences of other people. Beliefs based on truth can only be based on God’s word.

Four reasons we know it is God’s will that we be healed.

John 3:14-15 as Moses looked up the serpent in the wilderness even so must the Son of Man be lifted up that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. Jesus implies that what the serpent did for the children of Israel he himself would for the world through his crucifixion. Numbers 21:4-9 anyone who looked upon the serpent was healed and anyone who looks to Jesus today will be healed.

The pass over lamb. First Corinthians 5:7 Paul calls Jesus our Pass over.

Words of Jesus reveal the father’s will. John 14:10 the words I say to you I speak not about myself but the father that dwells in me.

Mark 1:40-43 Leper

The commissions of Jesus reveal that it is God’s will to heal all.

Matthew 10:1 the 12 disciples.

Luke 10:1 the seventy.

Mark 16:15-20 us.

Jesus revealed the will of God through his actions. John 14:9 he that has seen me has seen the father. Matthew 4:23-24, 8:16-17, 9:35, 14:14

The plan of redemption Scriptures.

Second Corinthians 5:21, Matthew 8:16-17, 1 Peter 2:24, 2 Corinthians 8:9

We must believe that God is a Liberal giver if we do not waiver. James 1:5-7

1 Timothy 6:17 Rich giver. Romans 8:32 free giver. John 3:16 love giver. God will not withhold any good thing from us.

God is a giver. A rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. A reward is something good.

What kind of a giver is God?

God is a Fatherly giver. Fathers are givers. Fathers give love, fathers give respect, fathers give protection, fathers give money, fathers give money, fathers give money, fathers give money.

God is a love giver. A person who loves is a person who gives. John 3:16

God is a liberal giver. James 1:5. The liberal soul shall be made fat.

God is a rich giver. 1 Tim 6:17 Who gives us richly all things to enjoy.

God is a free giver. Romans 8:32 of his older son for us all how would he not free to give us all things. If God gave us Jesus there is nothing else he would not give to you.

God is a quick giver. Is God going to tell you to wait? No. God is not slack concerning his promises.

Getting in return line during a church service just to see if anything is going to happen goes completely against Hebrews 11:6

It appears that both of these beliefs are equal in size. In other words we’re not to have a strong belief that he is and a weak belief that he is a rewarder.

We must know more about God than we know about our problem.

Many people aren’t experts on their illness. A sick person should be attempting to learn about God and his wonderful healing power instead of all about their illness.

God can heal you without you knowing all about your illness. He knows that is enough.

The Message Bible says must believe that he cares enough to respond to those who come to Him. Must believe that God cares enough about you to respond to you today.

Do you believe that it is God’s will for you to be saved? When you got saved, did you believe that Jesus is the savior?

Do you believe that he cares enough about you to respond to you today when you call out to him? Do you believe this enough to truthfully say I believe I received my salvation right now?

Do you believe that it is God’s will for you to be forgiven for your sins? When you repent of your sins do you believe that God cares enough about you to respond to you and to forgive you today? Do you believe this enough to truthfully say I believe I receive my forgiveness right now?

Do you believe it is God’s will for you to be healed and financially prosperous?

Then why would you ask for prayer for healing or financial provision and hope it happens. People do.

What is the first thing that comes to your mind after you get prayed for concerning healing or finances? For a lot of people, the answer is, did I get anything? Did it happen this time?

Are you a hoper?

To move from the realm of I hope I got something to I believe I received you have to understand the nature of God.

The more you know about God the easier it is for you to say I believe I received when I pray.

Luke 5:17-26 Man with palsy with 4 friends who lower him through the roof came to Jesus according to Hebrews 11:6. It seems that Jesus was pleased by their actions.

We need to learn to approach God according to Hebrews 11:6. If you believe this strongly enough you would tear the roof off to get to Jesus also.

The majority of people believe that God gives healing manifestations. When people do not receive an instant manifestation they will walk away from a prayer line discouraged.

How does God give it to us?

Acts 19 Handkerchiefs and aprons and prayer cloths.

James 5 oil and the prayer of faith.

Acts 3 the name of Jesus.

Mark 5 the spoken word.

Prayer of agreement.

Laying on of hands. Jesus used this method more than any other.

The method that was used to heal the sick was the method that the person had faith for. Jesus did not decide which method to use. Mark chapter 5.

Jesus could have told Jarvis, I don’t need to come to your house I can just speak and your daughter will be healed. Could he have done that? Why didn’t he?

Jesus had the power to speak healing into every person he encountered. He could have spoke healing into an entire crowd at one time.

The Centurion had faith for Jesus to speak over his situation.

Mark 5 Jairus had faith for the laying on of hands.

Mark 5 woman with the issue of blood had faith to touch the clothes of Jesus.

When it came to Jesus healing people it was all about the faith of the people.

Brother Hagan said “it appears to me that the laying on of hands work when nothing else will”.

Mark 8:22 they brought a man to Jesus and wanted Jesus to touch the man so he could receive his sight.

The Power

People expect to receive a healing manifestation when they are prayed for. Does God give healing manifestations? The answer is absolutely, but not always immediate manifestations.

If God always gave the immediate manifestations to our prayers for healing or finances why would Jesus instruct us in Mark 11:24 to believe that we received when we pray?

If we receive an immediate manifestation we do not need to believe that we receive because we know we have received.

The very fact that Jesus tells us to believe that we receive when we pray tells us clearly that when we pray we will not always receive an instant manifestation.

Jesus did not promise us an instant manifestation when we pray. We know this because he said that when we pray we are to believe that we receive. This indicates that there is going to be a period of time between the time we pray and the time the answer is manifested and that we are going to have to walk by what we believe and not by what we see.

If we do not receive an instant healing manifestation when we are prayed for, yet are required to believe that we received, then what has God given to the sick when they pray or have had hands laid upon them.

The question is, what did Jesus have that He gave to sick people?

The answer is found in Acts 10:38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil for God was with him.

Jesus had anointing of the Holy Ghost and power and that is what he gave.

Question. What kind of power was Jesus anointed with?

Answer. It must have been healing power due to the fact that he went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil.

Question. What does God give sick people today when hands are laid upon them or they pray for their own healing?

Answer. He gives them healing power because the instant we pray or hands are laid upon us the healing power of God is administered to our body just like the healing power of Jesus was administered to people he spoke over or touched.

What we are receiving is healing power and we can boldly proclaim that we believe we have received this healing power in our body to affect our healing.

What we need to know about healing.

God is willing to heal all.

God is a giver.

There are different methods God uses to give.

What God gives is power.

Acts 10:38 Jesus had power.

Mark 5:25-34 woman with issue of blood received power to be healed.

Luke 6:17-19 and the whole multitude sought to touch him for when virtue (power) went out of him and he healed them all.

Luke 5:17 and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.

Acts 10:38 how God anointed Jesus with the Holy Ghost and power but what about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil for God was with Him.

Jesus received the Holy Ghost and power at the River Jordan.

Mark 16 those that believe shall lay hands on the sick and they will recover. Jesus gave us the power to administer healing to people.

Acts 1:8 The power is not only to administer healing but also to preach the gospel.

Mark 5 25 not only does the power flow out of Jesus but it can be drawn out by faith.

Luke 6:19 whole multitude sought to touch Jesus for there went power out of him and healed them all. Everybody in the crowd was able to draw power out of Jesus.

When you get prayed for the healing power of God to heal goes into you.

If you water a droopy plant it does not automatically sprang up, but you come back the next day and that plant will be standing up strong because the healing power of water was administered.

When the healing power of God is administered to you through any method that you have faith for, your healing begins even though you don’t necessarily see it.

You can honestly say I believe I received my healing right now and your body will begin to get well. Many times healing is a process although it can happen very quickly.

Is there such a thing as power for prosperity?

The Lord spoke to me in an audible voice inside my spirit and said “why aren’t you praying for people’s finances the same way you pray for their healing”?

Deuteronomy 8:18 there is a supernatural power to get wealth and this power can be administered to you the same way the power to be healed is administered. The method which can be used is whichever method you have faith for.

Deuteronomy 8:18 (New Living Translation)

18 Remember the Lord your God. He is the one who gives you power to be successful, in order to fulfill the covenant he confirmed to your ancestors with an oath.

The word power in the Hebrew means force or might and is the same Hebrew word used in Deut. 4:37, 8:17, 9:29 to describe the power of God.

By this we can assume that God Almighty Himself transfers His power to you to get wealth just like Jesus transferred His power to the people to heal them.

There is a healing power which Jesus used to heal people and a power to get wealth which God transfers to his covenant people.

When the power of God to get wealth is administered to you through any method that you have faith for, your prosperity begins even though you don’t necessarily see it.

You can walk away and know that you have received the power to get wealth.

You can honestly say I believe I receive an increase in my finances.

I believe I receive money to pay my bills and money left over to help other people.

I believe I receive and God will provide all my needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

I believe I receive more than enough money to live an abundant life.

1

COVENANT: The Power to get Wealth

Covenant – Vow, Promise, Pledge, Oath, and A Solemn Pledge sealed in blood.

A Covenant is usually a mutual agreement between to two or more people established for the benefit

of the parties involved.

Example: Warrior Tribe and a Farming Tribe

Warrior tribe doesn’t know how to farm so they are starving to death.

Farming tribe has their harvest stolen because they don’t know how to fight.

They established a covenant between the two tribes by:

1) Negotiating the conditions of the covenant.

2) Exchanging Gifts.

3) Mingling of blood – Ashes or gun powder rubbed into the wound so that the man was visibly

marked as a man in covenant.

4) Pronouncing curses that would come if the covenant was broken.

Deut 8:18

18 “And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may

establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.

Power = Capacity, Means, Ability to Produce

a. Anointing ‐ Empowerment

b. Blessing – Prov. 10:22 ‐ the blessing of the Lord makes one rich,

and He adds no sorrow with it.

Wisdom, Witty Inventions, Ideas, Concepts, Direction, Light, Burn Water

To Establish His Covenant

God’s Covenant with Abraham:

Genesis 12:1

The Lord had said to Abram, “Leave your native country, your relatives, and your father’s family, and go to the

land that I will show you. I will make you into a great nation. I will bless you and make you famous, and you

will be a blessing to others. I will bless those who bless you and curse those who treat you with contempt. All

the families on earth will be blessed through you.”

Abraham was to be a Blessed to be a Blessing

2

Abram journeys to Canaan

7 Then the Lord appeared to Abram and said, “I will give this land to your descendants.” And Abram built an

altar there and dedicated it to the Lord, who had appeared to him.

Famine in Canaan, Abram tells Sarai to say she his sister because of her beauty.

16 Then Pharaoh gave Abram many gifts because of her—sheep, goats, cattle, male and female donkeys, male

and female servants, and camels.17 But the Lord sent terrible plagues upon Pharaoh and his household

because of Sarai, Abram’s wife.

God’s Promises work even in famine

Gen 15:1‐8

15 Some time later, the Lord spoke to Abram in a vision and said to him, “Do not be afraid, Abram, for I will protect

you, and your reward will be great.”

2 But Abram replied, “O Sovereign Lord, what good are all your blessings when I don’t even have a son?

5 Then the Lord took Abram outside and said to him, “Look up into the sky and count the stars if you can. That’s how

many descendants you will have!”

6 And Abram believed the Lord, and the Lord counted him as righteous because of his faith.

7 Then the Lord told him, “I am the Lord who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land as your

possession.”

8 But Abram replied, “O Sovereign Lord, how can I be sure that I will actually possess it?”

After the sun went down and darkness fell, Abram saw a smoking firepot and a flaming torch pass between the halves of

the carcasses. 18 So the Lord made a covenant with Abram that day

Gen 17:1‐11

17 When Abram was ninety‐nine years old, the Lord appeared to him and said, “I am El‐Shaddai—’God Almighty.’ Serve

me faithfully and live a blameless life. 2 I will make a covenant with you, by which I will guarantee to give you countless

descendants.”

3 At this, Abram fell face down on the ground. Then God said to him, 4 “This is my covenant with you: I will make you

the father of a multitude of nations! 5 What’s more, I am changing your name. It will no longer be Abram. Instead, you

will be called Abraham, for you will be the father of many nations. 6 I will make you extremely fruitful. Your descendants

will become many nations, and kings will be among them!

7 “I will confirm my covenant with you and your descendants after you, from generation to generation. This is the

everlasting covenant: I will always be your God and the God of your descendants after you.

3

David and Goliath

1 Sam 17:26 ‐ David had a covenant attitude

26 Then David spoke to the men who stood by him, saying, “What shall be done for the man who kills this

Philistine and takes away the reproach from Israel? For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should

defy the armies of the living God?”

Difference between Israel armies and David – Anointing and believing the covenant.

Israel had the covenant but wasn’t living it.

Old Covenant/New Covenant

Now we can have a better understanding of what Jesus meant when He said at the last supper ”This is My

Blood of the New Covenant poured out for you.” More than forgiveness of sins, the sacrifice of Christ was the

shedding of God’s blood so that a New Covenant could be sealed with blood.

Gal 3:14

14 Through Christ Jesus, God has blessed the Gentiles with the same blessing he promised to Abraham, so

that we who are believers might receive the promised Holy Spirit through faith.

Gal 3:26‐29

For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus. 27 And all who have been united with Christ in

Baptism has put on the character of Christ, like putting on new clothes. 28 There is no longer Jew or

Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And now that you belong to

Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and God’s promise to Abraham belongs to

you.

New Covenant – Better Covenant Heb. 7:22 Jesus is the guarantee of the better covenant.

What this means: GOD WANTED US TO HAVE THE BENEFITS OF HIS NEW COVENANT SO BAD THAT HE

BECAME A MAN THE SACRIFICAL LAMB OF THE NEW COVENANT.

New Covenant Promises:

Now all the promises of God are yes and amen, in Christ – old and new covenant promises.

He provides all our needs according to His riches in glory – it is God’s will that we prosper, it is part of Him

establishing His covenant with us.

If we don’t understand our covenant with God we end up like Israel cowering before Goliath.

Hebrews 4 ‐ Testimony about heart of unbelief = No Rest LIVE ONE DAY AT A TIME (Matt. 6:34)

4

COVENANT: The Power to get Wealth

Make Monuments to God (Genesis 12:7)

List three times in your life that God came through for you. Share at least one with those at your table.

1. ________________________________________________________________________

________________________________________________________________________

2. ________________________________________________________________________

________________________________________________________________________

3. ________________________________________________________________________

________________________________________________________________________

Father: Thank you that you are a covenant keeping God. Thank you for your faithfulness. I thank you that

when I lack faith you remain faithful, you cannot deny yourself. Lord I ask that you come into any area of

my heart that I have unbelief. I release all unbelief to you. I ask you to remove all unbelief from my heart. If

I have agreed with the lies of the enemy that has kept me from entering into your rest because of unbelief I

ask you to forgive me and I break those agreements right now in Jesus name. I loose the Blessings of

Abraham into my life. I decree that it is God’s will:

• That I prosper and be in health even as my soul prospers

• That the Lord will never leave me or forsake me

• That the Lord has established His covenant with me through Jesus Christ

• That the righteous will never be forsaken or his seed begging bread and I am the

righteousness of God in Christ Jesus

• That the Lord delights in the prosperity of His children and I am His child

• That I will reign in this life because I have received the gift of righteousness

• That the Lord provides all my needs according to His riches in glory

• That all I need will be added to me because I seek first the Kingdom of God and His

righteousness

Here are some of the best quotes filled with wisdom that I have found that will inspire you to acheve more that you ever thought you would.

You are where you are at in every area of your life because of where your faith is at in that area.

A goal properly set is halfway reached.

A lot of people quit looking for work as soon as they find a job.

Building a better you is the first step to building a better America.

Every choice you make has an end result.

Every obnoxious act is a cry for help.
Expect the best. Prepare for the worst. Capitalize on what comes.

Failure is a detour, not a dead-end street.

I believe that being successful means having a balance of success stories across the many areas of your life. You can’t truly be considered successful in your business life if your home life is in shambles.

If God would have wanted us to live in a permissive society He would have given us Ten Suggestions and not Ten Commandments.

If you can dream it, then you can achieve it. You will get all you want in life if you help enough other people get what they want.

If you don’t see yourself as a winner, then you cannot perform as a winner.

If you go looking for a friend, you’re going to find they’re very scarce. If you go out to be a friend, you’ll find them everywhere.

If you learn from defeat, you haven’t really lost.

If you treat your wife like a thoroughbred, you’ll never end up with a nag.

If you want to reach a goal, you must “see the reaching” in your own mind before you actually arrive at your goal.

It was character that got us out of bed, commitment that moved us into action, and discipline that enabled us to follow through.

It’s not what you’ve got, it’s what you use that makes a difference.

Little men with little minds and little imaginations go through life in little ruts, smugly resisting all changes which would jar their little worlds.

Many marriages would be better if the husband and the wife clearly understood that they are on the same side.

Money isn’t the most important thing in life, but it’s reasonably close to oxygen on the “gotta have it” scale.

You must take action now that will move you towards your goals. Develop a sense of urgency in your life.

Take action in order to move toward your goals.

When you face your fear, most of the time you will discover that it was not really such a big threat after all. We all need some form of deeply rooted, powerful motivation — it empowers us to overcome obstacles so we can live our dreams.

Anytime you suffer a setback or disappointment, put your head down and plow ahead.

Just because Fate doesn’t deal you the right cards, it does not mean you should give up. It just means you have to play the cards you get to their maximum potential.

You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.

Believe that you possess a basic goodness, which is the foundation for the greatness you can ultimately achieve.

Your level of belief in yourself will inevitably manifest itself in whatever you do.

Begin to read a book that will help you move toward your dream.

You have the power to change.

Change is difficult but often essential to survival.
You cannot expect to achieve new goals or move beyond your present circumstances unless you change.

You don’t get in life what you want; you get in life what you are.

Other people’s opinion of you does not have to become your reality.

You need to make a commitment, and once you make it, then life will give you some answers.

Your ability to communicate is an important tool in your pursuit of your goals, whether it is with your family, your co-workers or your clients and customers.

Don’t let the negativity given to you by the world disempower you. Instead give to yourself that which empowers you.

If you don’t program yourself, life will program you!

I advise you to say your dream is possible and then overcome all inconveniences, ignore all the hassles and take a running leap through the hoop, even if it is in flames.

A lot of people do not muster the courage to live their dreams because they are afraid to die.

You gotta be hungry!

If you do not develop the hunger and courage to pursue your goal, you will lose your nerve and you will give up on your dream.

Be determined to handle any challenge in a way that will make you grow.

Help others achieve their dreams and you will achieve yours.

You have the courage and power to live your dreams.

One of the most essential things you need to do for yourself is to choose a goal that is important to you. Perfection does not exist — you can always do better and you can always grow.

Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss it you will land among the stars.

You must think of failure and defeat as the springboards to new achievements or to the next level of accomplishment.

Fear does not have any special power unless you empower it by submitting to it.

Too many of us are not living our dreams because we are living our fears.

You must remain focused on your journey to greatness.
You may not accomplish every goal you set — no one does — but what really matters is having goals and going after them wholeheartedly.

Forgive those who have hurt you.

Forgive yourself for your faults and your mistakes and move on.

Review your goals twice every day in order to be focused on achieving them.

As you reach your goals, set new ones. That is how you grow and become a more powerful person.

Choosing goals that are important to you is one of the most essential things you can do in order to live your dreams.

Goals are not dreamy, pie-in-the-sky ideals. They have every day practical applications and they should be practical.

If you set goals and go after them with all the determination you can muster, your gifts will take you places that will amaze you.

Life takes on meaning when you become motivated, set goals and charge after them in an unstoppable manner.

You are the only real obstacle in your path to a fulfilling life.

Someone’s opinion of you does not have to become your reality.

If you view all the things that happen to you, both good and bad, as opportunities, then you operate out of a higher level of consciousness.

If you are carrying strong feelings about something that happened in your past, they may hinder your ability to live in the present.

When life knocks you down, try to land on your back. Because if you can look up, you can get up. Let your reason get you back up.

If you put yourself in a position where you have to stretch outside your comfort zone, then you are forced to expand your consciousness.

The things you want are always possible; it is just that the way to get them is not always apparent. The only real obstacle in your path to a fulfilling life is you, and that can be a considerable obstacle because you carry the baggage of insecurities and past experience.

The only limits to the possibilities in your life tomorrow are the buts you use today.

Life has no limitations, except the ones you make.

“Act The Way You Want To Be And Soon You’ll Be The Way You Act”

Here is a list of Prosperity verses that are guarenteed to increase your finances if you will read them out loud over and over again.

Joshua 1:7,8
Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest. This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Genesis 13:2,3
And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse them that curse thee: and in thee shall all the families of the earth be blessed.

Job 22:28
Thou shalt also decree a thing and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.

Psalm 1:1-3
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law shall he meditate day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

Isaiah 48:15-17
I, even I, have spoken; yea, I have called him: I have brought him, and he shall make his way prosperous. Come Ye near unto me, Hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I: and now the Lord God and his spirit, hath sent me. Thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shoudest go.

1 Chronicles 4:10
And Jabez called on the name of the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.

Psalm 35:27

Psalm 67:5-7
For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not hither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. For ye shall go out with joy and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Instead of the thorn will come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the Lord for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.

Ecclesiastes 7:18
It is good that thou shouldest take hold of this; yea, also from this withdraw not thine hand: for he that feareth God shall come forth of them all.

Zechariah 1:17
Cry yet, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; My cities through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad; and the LORD shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem.

Malachi 3:10
Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

Malachi 3:11
And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.

Malachi 3:12
And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts.

Malachi 4:2
But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

Malachi 4:3
And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.

Matthew 4:4
But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Matthew 6:19-34
Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: {20} But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: {21} For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. {22} The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. {23} But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! {24} No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. {25} Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? {26} Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? {27} Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? {28} And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: {29} And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. {30} Wherefore , if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? {31} Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? {32} (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. {33} But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. {34} Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Matthew 7:7-11
Ask , and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: {8} For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. {9} Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? {10} Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? {11} If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

Matthew 7:24-27
Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: {25} And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. {26} And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: {27} And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

Matthew 12:35-37
A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. {36} But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. {37} For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

Matthew 18:18-20
Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. {19} Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. {20} For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

Matthew 16:19
And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Matthew 19:26
But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

Matthew 19:29
And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.

Matthew 21:21
Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.

Matthew 21:22
And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

Matthew 25:14-36
For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods. {15} And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey. {16} Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents. {17} And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two. {18} But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord’s money. {19} After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them. {20} And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. {21} His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. {22} He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them. {23} His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. {24} Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strewed: {25} And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine. {26} His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strewed: {27} Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury. {28} Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents. {29} For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath. {30} And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. {31} When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: {32} And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: {33} And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. {34} Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: {35} For I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: {36} Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

Mark 10:27
And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.

Mark 11:22-25
And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. {23} For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. {24} Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. {25} And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

Luke 1:45
And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.

Mark 13:31
Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

Luke 4:18
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

Luke 6:38
Give , and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Luke 10:19
Behold , I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Luke 11:9-13
And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. {10} For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. {11} If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? {12} Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? {13} If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

Luke 12:15-37
And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth. {16} And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: {17} And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? {18} And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. {19} And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. {20} But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? {21} So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God. {22} And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. {23} The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment. {24} Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls? {25} And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit? {26} If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest? {27} Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. {28} If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith? {29} And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. {30} For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things. {31} But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you. {32} Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. {33} Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth. {34} For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. {35} Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning; {36} And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately. {37} Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.

John 12:26
If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.

John 14:13
And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

John 14:14
If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

2 John 15:4-7
Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. {5} I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. {6} If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. {7} If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

John 15:16

Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

Romans 8:31-37
What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? {32} He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? {33} Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth. {34} Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. {35} Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? {36} As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. {37} Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

Romans 14:17
For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

Romans 14:18
For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.

1 Corinthians 1:5
That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge;

1 Corinthians 1:6
Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you:

2 Corinthians 2:14
Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.

2 Corinthians 4:13
We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;

2 Corinthians 4:18
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

2 Corinthians 8:9
For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.

2 Corinthians 9:6-11
But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. {7} Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. {8} And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: {9} (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever. {10} Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;) {11} Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.

Galatians 6:6
Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.

Galatians 6:7
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

Galatians 6:8
For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

Galatians 6:9
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Galatians 6:10
As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

Philippians 4:19
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

1 Timothy 6:17
Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not high-minded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;

Hebrews 6:10-15
For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have showed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. {11} And we desire that every one of you do show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end: {12} That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises. {13} For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself, {14} Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee. {15} And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.

Hebrews 10:35
Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward.

Hebrews 10:36
For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

Hebrews 13:5
Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

Hebrews 13:6
So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

2 Peter 1:2-4
Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, {3} According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: {4} Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

1 John 4:4
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

1 John 5:4
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

1 John 5:5
Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

Prayer to start each day:

I thank you Lord for this new day that you have blessed me with. I pray that today I will please you in all that I say and do and I thank you for this opportunity to lose weight and get my body in physical order. I pray that I will have the discipline to do it. I pray that I will lose all the weight that I need to lose as quickly and safely as possible. I pray for and received a double portion of grace over this weight-loss program. Thank you Lord for what you have done and what you’re doing in my life, in Jesus name. Amen.

Ketone Strips Wal-mart has them

Dating: Misery Loves Company

We’re in the midst of a raging recession with global reach, the economists are speculating on the possibility of a “double dip” recession. People have lost jobs, homes, cars other property and the like; marriages are strained under the weight of mounting debts and other economic problems.

But there is one “industry’ that is defying the economic gloom and doom and according to a report I heard about on Fox News, that would be the online matchmaking services, some of the dating sites are reporting double digit increases in the number of new members, they describe the pace at which people are trying to find a new partner as being at a frenzied pace.

It seems that, despite the sometimes high monthly cost, people want to reach out to one another and be together in other words, they don’t want to go through this economic downturn by themselves.

Unfortunately, money of these people (not all) are lonely and not seeking a partner from a Godly stand point, as in seeking their lifelong soul mate, partner, fellow worshipper, lover and co- parent of any future children. In fact, I believe many of these people are looking for someone to “hook up with” Some of them will marry after many years of getting to KNOW each other in the biblical sense, prior to marriage.

People are social creatures; they need to interact with other people. Despite the economy, people when interviewed, state the need to connect and not face all this uncertainty by themselves; but they also mention the advantage of having an almost unlimited number of potential partners to interact with and weed out the incompatible (the gold-digger, the psycho etc.)

They have more basic information on the potential mate than they otherwise would meeting someone at work or from a chance encounter at the Laundromat.

One can sympathize as these are lonely people who want companionship, and to share expenses in these difficult times. But it is better to be alone than to be with the wrong person. No matter how bad the economy is, a relationship started out of loneliness, desperation or a desire to share expenses will not last in the long run.

Better to live on a corner of the roof than share a house with a quarrelsome wife (or husband). Proverbs 21 verse 9 (NIV)

Payday loans are rapidly gaining popularity these days. People who encounter unforeseen financial emergencies often find Payday loans as their savior. These loans can indeed be helpful when you don’t have the necessary funds but have to make a payment right away. However, payday loans have been criticized by many financial experts and organizations who opine that these loans take advantage of cash strapped consumers. They argue it only pushes people towards scary things like payday loan settlement, consolidation and sometimes even bankruptcy. So, should you consider a payday loan? Let’ discuss.

What is a Payday loan

Payday loan is a short term loan which is supposed to cover the borrower’s expenses until the next payday. This kind of loan is more common in the US but it is spreading rapidly in other countries as well. The range of Payday loan usually varies from $250-$1000.

What are the benefits of Payday loan

The biggest advantage of Payday loan is that it gives you immediate access to cash when you need it the most. Have you ever stumbled upon some medical emergency or big car repair bill? If yes, then you would know that it is quite a crisis situation if you don’t maintain a good emergency fund. At times like this, Payday loan can come to your rescue by providing you the cash within 24 hours.

The whole process of getting the loan is hassle free. You need to submit only some basic documents like your bank account number, address proof etc. The eligibility criteria are simple enough. You just need to have a savings account and a permanent address. Even your credit history is not taken into account.

Since credit check is not necessary here, a person with bad credit history is eligible for Payday loan. This means even people who have filed bankruptcy or settled their debts are eligible for payday loan. Payday loan is also of great help to people who have “maxed out” their credit card or don’t have any credit card at all.

Payday loans are secure in the sense that your financial information is not shared with others. So your privacy is respected here.

What are the disadvantages of Payday loan

Payday loans can sink you in debt with their extremely high interest rate if you are not careful enough. The interest charged can be as high as 25% of what you borrowed. A loan of $500 will typically cost you $125 in interest. Some people don’t think of the interest when they take a payday loan and understand too late that they cannot afford it.

The cost of Payday loan increases when the loans are rolled over. Many borrowers do not evaluate their income and do not check the pay schedules either. Consequently, they often fail to pay back the loan in time. Next, they make a partial payment and extend the loan. This is how the loans are rolled over adding more fees to your principal. Sometimes, people default on their payday loan and take another loan to pay-off the previous one. This continues and they enter

People tend to develop a psychological dependence on payday loans. These loans give you the feeling that you have enough cash to buy whatever you want. If you don’t get rid of this illusion then you could be knee deep in debt sooner than you imagine.

The loan amount can be really small. This might not fulfill your requirements. So if you need a fat sum then better look elsewhere.

Whether you like them or not, payday loans are hard to ignore. They are possibly a necessary evil. Nonetheless, Payday loan should be your last resort. It can push you towards payday loan consolidation or settlement and get you entangled in an intricate web of debt.
