Everybody thinks they know how to barbecue but the true matter is not many people really do and that’s why many times food taste so bad at outdoor family gatherings.
6 Steps to barbecue the right way.
1. The first thing to do is get yourself a good fire going preferably a charcoal fire by piling up the charcoal in a pyramid and soaking it with lighter fluid allowing it to sit for three minutes and then light it.
2. Once the charcoal turns white spread it around and you’re ready to cook.
3. If you are doing ribs rub them up with a mixture of brown sugar, pepper and other spices and cook them in the oven in a pan with 1 inch of water for three hours and allow them to cool.
4. Then take them out and put them on the grill along with your favorite barbecue sauce and heat them until they are warm all the way through. Make sure you don’t burn them.
5. If you are doing chicken, cook slowly for at least an hour putting on your favorite barbecue sauce every 10 or 15 minutes.
6. Potatoes and other vegetables will also Cook on the grill by wrapping them in aluminum foil and just sitting them on the top.
