You can buy things online including life insurance and this many times is the best and easiest way to get it.
Here’s how to do it.
Look up 5 (I always go with five) insurance companies online that offer the type of life insurance that you are looking for, whether it is term life, whole life or universal life.
Pick out 5 companies with plans that interest you and that you can afford.
Fill out the questionnaires including health questions and make sure all that all of your answers are accurate.
In a day or two you’ll receive, usually by e-mail, quotes from all five companies. Compare these and decide which policy you are interested in.
Submit a formal application to the insurance company that you have selected, including a very detailed medical history along with questions about your occupation, your age, height and weight, marital status, and family medical history.
The insurance company will contact you to schedule a medical examination if necessary.
The application will then be submitted to underwriting for approval. This process can take several days or even a couple of weeks.
When your policy arrives, check it very carefully for errors and make sure everything is spelled right.
Sign the documents and return them to the insurance company along with your first premium check in a registered letter, with signature required.
