By admin

My credit score Read this quickly learn how to save money and get a good credit report and credit score so you can lower your interest rates and lower payments.

Many times it will take a long-term process to build a good credit score and keep it maintained.

1. The best way to raise your credit score is to stay financially organized and keep out of my major debts.

2. Developing good financial habits will go a long way toward raising your credit score if you plan to buy a house in the near future or if you need to raise your credit score a few points you need to learn how to do it quickly.

3. The first thing to do is get a free copy of your credit report, which you can do from all three credit agencies once a year. The nice thing about this is you can get one from one of the bureaus and three months later get another one from another of the bureaus then three months later get the last report from the last bureau. This gives you three free credit reports every year.

4. When you get your credit report examine it carefully for any inaccurate information that may have been put on their due to identity theft. Also examine it for any inaccurate information they have been put on by credit institutions that inadvertently put on the wrong information. If there is any inaccurate information on your credit report, contact the Bureau and in the case where it has been put on by credit institution go to that institution asked them to take it off and contact the credit bureau on your behalf.

5. If there are unexplained accuracies on your credit report the first thing you do is check and see if your Social Security Number on the credit report is correct. Then look at the addresses because of your address is not the same as where you live on the report that can cause a lot of confusion. If there are any unexplained errors on your report contact the credit bureau immediately and they will help you sort it out.

6. Also, contact the credit bureau in the event of any disputed errors on your credit report. Your credit report may show payments made late that were actually paid on time or closed accounts are still listed as open or outstanding debts you have paid off. If any of these items that I have listed are there, contact the credit bureau to straighten this out.

7. Another thing you can do to raise your credit score is start paying your bills on time. If you have a history of late payments start making all of your payments on time and in about three months you will see a significant raise your credit score.

8. Try to get some of your smaller debts paid off and close out these accounts.

9. Do not open new accounts.

10. Do not permit anybody to access your credit report, as every inquiry will lower your score.
