2010 Predictions by Jimmy Kibler

Posted by: | CommentsThe Year of Abundance is what 2010 is going to be I declared in church yesterday. What is the importance of that you asked?
Well, last year I declared that 2009 would be the year of breakthrough for people in our church and yesterday I asked for a show of hands of how many had experienced a major financial or health breakthrough this last year and most of the people raised their hands.
I personally know of several, including a major healing that you can read about in the praise report category and the last financial breakthrough which just happened on Christmas Eve for a family. What a wonderful gift.
Another Christmas Day – Was Jesus Necessary
Posted by: | CommentsAnother Christmas day
For me this is number (a lot) and each one is very special. I was talking to Mary on the way home from church last night about what a wonderful Christmas Eve service we had. My message “Was Jesus Necessary”?
Now you may think the answer to that question is easy but lots of people do not realise just how necessary it was for Jesus to come into this world. As the praise band was singing “Little Drummer Boy” the thought came to me that not only did Jesus come 2,000 years age but just as important, He is coming back and maybe soon to collect His people.
God needed a perfect Savior to pay for the sins of all of us and the only answer was that He had to provide the Savior Himself. This was the only way that God could receive us to Himself, if our sins were washed away.
November 30, 2009
Posted by: | CommentsWell, here we are Monday morning November 30. Can you believe it, this is the last day of November. We had a great Thanksgiving. We put on a meal for about 30 people here in our community who had no place else to go and we had a great time.
We had a great church service yesterday morning. Lots of people were there, but nobody won the free cash giveaway, which is now up to $150. The cash giveaway is also up $150 Wednesday evening. We have not had a winner yet but I know we will soon.
We have to take our precious dog, Muffy, to the dog eye Dr. tomorrow morning. They say she has cataracts, but I know that God will take care of my dog. She has brought so much joy into our house and there is nothing we wouldn’t do for her. If you have pets, then you know that pets are just like children. We watched that movie, Marley and me, the other night and it was a wonderful story of a family with their pet dog. People do love their dogs. And you cat People out there, I haven’t forgotten about you; I know you love your cats to. Have you ever noticed that people are either cat people or dog people, but not too many people are lovers of both dogs and cats?

Posted by: | CommentsWhat a day this has been. Busy, busy, busy. God’s grace is a wonderful thing as I sit here this evening, I am just giving God all of the praise and the honor and glory for everything he does for me. It seems like every day I am more in awe of my Lord and Savior. God is so wonderful and sometimes I just feel so full of his love that it just has to pour out. I am looking forward to church tomorrow evening. I just love our Wednesday evening service because we have a meal at six clock and a wonderful time of fellowship and then Mary and I get to play the music for our worship band. Karen has made pasta casserole and I know that it will be wonderful. She is amazing.
God Bless, Pastor Jim

Posted by: | CommentsChurch service today was awesome. The praise and worship was wonderful and really set the tone for the entire service. Mark, who is our new praise and worship leader is great and people really like his music. My message today was on the power of our words and how we can shape and change our life by what we speak. The people in our Church are really getting this message. This morning, people were speaking God’s Word out of their mouths. As I listened to them I thought to myself that Jesus said, “out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks”. These people have God’s Word in their hearts. How wonderful. What more can a Pastor ask for?
Our friends, Paul and Jean arrived this morning from Ohio and will be staying with us for a few days. They have a new baby dog, a Pekinese, and she is delightful. Her name is Molly and our dog Muffy is getting used to her.
